There is a serious fucking problem on this website.
People. Need. To. Stop. Stealing. Other. People’s. Work.  The fact that someone can so easily steal my photos, just to repost them, with a link to a website called “weheartit” and no credit, is absolutely unacceptable. I don’t think people understand copyright and violation or even respect. This is peoples’ livelihoods. Credit artists or don’t repost this shit at all.

Paul Bennett, Rain (2011)

Paul’s work is internationally praised for being awesome! This UK based artist makes these open ended, beautiful abstract paintings. They can literally be anything you want them to be (interpretation). I just chose the blue paintings because it’s my favorite color, albeit not the most powerful piece of his work…ok I lied, but it’s just ridiculous how he just does this with his brush while I still struggle to paint my work. Be sure to check out more of his work at his site.

Disney disappoints me.

Since when is Pocahontas not a Disney princess? I went to Disneyland not too long ago and I spent the trip looking for just a simple Pocahontas pin and I checked every damn store in that entire park and not once did I come across anything Pocahontas at all. I asked one of the employees why they didn’t have any of her merchandise and they said they don’t really carry Pocahontas or Mulan …
Not cool, but even worse when cast members are asked why Alice for instance isn’t a princess, which I understand, they reply with “because she doesn’t marry a prince”. Really? Great message to little girls, you have to marry wealthy or royalty to be noticed or to be important.
